Dayshifter, the metalcore fivesome, recently dropped the music video for their newest single, “Common Ground.” Their first single “Serpent Eyes” has gained 22,000 listens on Spotify since it dropped with an accompanying video back in August. Met with overall positive reviews and the addition of a Famined Records signing, the direction that the band is heading in looks promising.
The “Common Ground” video features a calm guitar intro that quickly leads into the line “Another nail in the coffin, another foot in the grave” followed with electric riffs, thunderous drumming and a song heavy enough to break your neck head-banging to. Being a UK-based band, this song is one that you could easily see accompanying Architects on the top of music charts around the world in the metalcore category.
Dayshifter consists of Nathan Dillon (Vocals), Tom Simpson (Lead Guitarist), Anth Dickinson (Rhythm Guitarist), James Taylor (Bassist), and is backed by Liam Robson (Drums).
